Personal History Miranda Stratton was born on October 9, 1996, in Cleveland, Ohio, into a working-class family. Her father served as a first officer aboard an OCP freighter, while her mother worked as a geologist for a mining company.
From an early age, Miranda displayed exceptional intelligence, consistently outperforming her peers. Her academic excellence attracted attention from several mega-corporations, each offering her placement in elite business academies. However, her success also led to isolation and bullying from classmates, contributing to the development of her cold and guarded personality.
After completing her early education, Miranda fulfilled a mandatory two-year service contract with the OCP Urban Rehabilitators. Upon completion, she was admitted into the OCP Business Academy in Miami, where she studied business management, cybernetics, and weapons development.
In 2020, she was assigned to the OCP Weapons Research and Development Center in Boston as a weapons engineer. Her breakthrough came with the design of the OCP Ninety-Two firearm, which became a commercial success and made her a millionaire by 2023.
She followed this with another major success: the development of OCP police surveillance drones, which were widely deployed by 2025.
By 2027, Miranda had risen to Supervisor of the Robotics Division. Her performance earned her a transfer to Detroit in 2029, where she became a Junior Executive under Ivar Denton. Denton became both her mentor and romantic partner, teaching her the intricacies of corporate power, negotiation, and survival within OCP’s hierarchy.
One of the most important lessons he imparted was to never cross Richard “Dick” Jones—a warning Miranda frequently ignored. Their repeated confrontations became well-known within executive circles, even drawing the attention of OCP’s CEO, “The Old Man,” who admired Miranda’s boldness and tenacity.
In 2031, Ivar Denton died suddenly after suffering a stroke during a presentation. Rumors circulated that he had argued with Dick Jones shortly before his death, though no evidence ever surfaced. His death had a profound impact on Miranda, hardening her personality further and fueling her growing resentment toward Jones.
Following Denton’s death, Miranda was promoted to Executive and assumed control of Security Concepts. Under the Old Man’s protection and mentorship, she adapted quickly to her new role and continued to rise in influence—eventually being positioned as second in line for leadership within OCP.
With crime escalating in Detroit, Miranda proposed a bold initiative: field-testing advanced robotic enforcement units alongside select police officers. This initiative became known as the C.R.I.S.I.S. Project, marking her most ambitious and controversial undertaking to date.
